Shildon Hapkido Club has been running for three years and has gone from strength to strength. We teach male and female, adults and children from the age of 8. They say "never work with children or animals", I couldn't teach Hapkido to a dog, but I can teach children and enjoy teaching them as much as adults. It's very rewarding to see the results of your work shine through as their training matures. At Shildon we run a "student and team of the month award" and "a student and team of the year award".

All of our students have a bond and very close knit like a family, each student welcomes the new and remains friends with their training friends. We have a 3rd Dan Instructor, 2nd Dan Club Captain and there are six 1st dan black belts who assist the instructor, which each are helpful to any student who needs more one to one instruction as well as the students hapkido comes natural to.Shildon Hapkido Club has a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere where we encourage the building of confidence.
